Help Narendra Build a Safe Home for the Abandoned

From Streets to Home, Giving Neglected Souls a Second Chance at Life.

Born into a humble farmer family, Narendra Patil grew up watching his father care for cows and bulls like family members. Filled with compassion, he would feed stray dogs and look after the injured animals around him. But one incident changed his life forever one day, he saw a man on the roadside eating his own waste out of hunger and illness. That heartbreaking sight moved him deeply and made him decide to do something for those abandoned and forgotten by society.

In 2019, Patil started working to help such people, and in 2020, he officially registered Manav Seva Tirth Ashram in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, to give a safe home to the mentally unwell and homeless individuals living on the streets.

So far, 1,204 people have been reunited with their families, and today, the Ashram is home to 150+ Prabhujis who are being cared for with love, food, and proper medical treatment. The Ashram also works for animal welfare, feeding and rescuing stray and injured animals every day.

“There are days when we don’t have enough food or medicines for our Prabhujis. We try our best, but without your support, it’s difficult to meet even their basic needs. Please come forward — your small contribution can bring warmth, food, and healing to those who once had no one.”

“Each of these Prabhujis has suffered so much. I just want to give them a life of dignity and peace,” says Narendra Patil, Founder, Manav Seva Tirth Ashram.

Whenever someone finds a person in distress  be it citizens or the police they inform the Ashram. Without an ambulance of their own, Patil’s team has a tie-up with the District Health Department, which provides ambulances and medical support. Each rescue is done with police permission, followed by cleaning, 
medical tests, and complete care.

“They don’t need anything — just a little care and love,” said Narendra Patil. “Many Prabhujis, with this love and care only, have recovered and returned to their homes in good health.”

However, the Ashram is now facing a critical situation they had to vacate their rented premises and urgently need support to build a permanent shelter for all their Prabhujis.

The Ashram urgently needs construction materials as Narendra Patil dreams of building a new and safe home for the poor, the homeless, and our Prabhujis. Every small donation  whether materials, groceries, or medicines can make a big difference in giving them a better life.

“These people are like Gods to me. Please help us give them a proper home,” says Narendra Patil.

About the NGO:
Started in 2019 and registered in 2020, Manav Seva Tirth Ashram in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, has rescued and cared for over 1,200 mentally challenged and homeless individuals. Currently, 150+ residents live at the Ashram, where they receive food, shelter, treatment, and unconditional love. Alongside human welfare, the Ashram also works actively for animal rescue and feeding programs, continuing its mission 
of compassion for all living beings.
